Resales Buy Owner, Inc. (RSBO) operates within the timeshare resale marketplace. Through cooperative advertising, RSBO makes it possible for timeshare buyers, sellers and renters to connect around the world. The RSBO cooperative advertising program involves pooling advertising resources with those of other sellers/renters to maximize exposure to potential buyers/renters of your vacation property. RSBO fees advertising fees are dependeant on the sale and rental ad if purchased simultaneously. Owners are entitled to a refund of the advertising fee if they provide RSBO with notice of cancellation of their advertisement within seven (7) business days from the day their advertisement becomes active on RSBO website. The term for all ads is until sold or withdrawn; however, due to inventory management,RSBO does not itself engage in real estate broker services on it's advertisers' behalf or anyone else. Because RSBO does not provide real estate services, RSBO has itself sold zero timeshare properties. However, for the 2007 and 2008 calendar years, the network of cooperating real estate brokers using inventory for their buyers sold timeshare properties with an no success ratio at all.. Additionally, RSBO clients have offline sales generated by offers directly to the owner, RSBO is unaware of the exact percentage of offers to sales. RSBO will refer it's advertisers to a licensed real estate broker to provide whatever real estate brokerage services are necessary, if requested. The terms of any agreement between a real estate broker/agent and you are not endorsed, or recommended by RSBO. If you accept the services of a real estate broker/agent, a transaction fee, commission, and or closing costs may be charged to either the buyer and/or seller. RSBO is not involved in any negotiation for sale/rent, closing, or procuring of buyers. RSBO cannot and does not appraise the value/rental price of vacation properties. The sale/rental price is established by the property owner, and RSBO will make no representation as to the sale/rental price that an owner may receive. There is no guarantee that any timeshare period can be rented or sold at any particular price or within any particular period of time. Any offers submitted by prospective buyers are sent directly to the timeshare owner or the owner's designated real estate broker. Due to privacy concerns, direct contact information for owners is not available on RSBO's website.

When a vacation property has a rental or sale offer as a result of appearing on our network, the owner can choose to go through an affiliated or recommended transaction broker/closing company or handle the transaction on his/her own. If an owner chooses to have the offer handled by a third party referral, there may be fees associated with the sale or rental that RSBO has no control over.
